I have downloaded 9.510 SE ttssystem.rar and overwritten my standard tts file with the new one and copied over model.txt. However my 550 only gets as far as the startup flash screen and hangs.

Using TomTom Home works OK and I can "operate my go" OK.

Do i need to do anything else ?

1. If you desire to use the auto-power-on feature, you must use the entire download in post 1.
2. "Operate my GO" is just an emulation/simulation & shouldn't be used for testing/troubleshooting.

Oh OK. I thought the TTS on it's own would be enough. I'll download the whole file from post 1 as you suggest.

Thanks

Hello,

I use a tomtom XL4ET03. I have the DSA NC 9.150 installed. Can I add the power-on feature (copy or replace the file) to this NC ?

kind regards.

No, but this 9.510 is a DSA version with the "power on" feature added to it.

Hi,

yes it must be the 9.510 NC :046: . But I don't think it works automaticly. When I turn the car key the unit doesn't start up automaticly nor does it turn off the power. Do I have to make any changes in the menu ?

regards

1. Are you saying that you have replaced the DSA 9.510 NC, that you referred to in post 86, with the "Navcore 9.510 with auto-power-on" version .
2. The "Navcore 9.510 with auto-power-on" does indeed start automatically. To turn off the power you SHOULD HAVE, GO Main Menu, Change preferences, Battery saving preferences & Switch off when external power is lost.
3. Not that I am aware of.

1. No, I ment that it's indeed the DSA 9.510 NC in have installed instead of the DSA 9.150 I wrote in my first post (86).
2. I made the change in Battery saving preferences, so that the power should turn off when external power is lost, but it doesn't
3. Nor does the unit power-on automatically with the DSA 9.510 NC. Does this mean that the DSA 9.510 doesn't have the power-on feature added on ?
In post 87 you said that it has it added-on

Why is it not working then ?

kind regards.
