Do you want to play with 9.485, or are you happy with 9.530?

Don't really know if it is worth playing with 9.485 as 9.530 works OK, 9.530 but is missing the menu to turn off tips although i know a work around to load a temporary menu in to turn tips off. Do you think there is any advantage to using 9.485? It more annoyed me that I couldn't get it too work than actually needing to use it as I don't like to be beaten.

There is no advantage. You would only gain personal satisfaction.
