Where can I find a good working navcore for my TomTom XL ?
I have NC9.510 DSA for 32MB Ram which should work with the one and the XL and it works with the XL but I don´t get the sound working so maybe it is not the correct navcore for the XL
I am looking forward for your help

I tried this and while everything loads Ok, as soon as I try to enter an address to navigate to, it locks up then eventually reboots.

1) Make a backup of your Device and delete the content.

2) Unpack the* navcore (winrar ) and place folders and files on your Device.

3) Reset The Device (minimal 15 sec) and start it till the announcement "No map found"

4) Copie the selected map to your Device in his own folder.
If you open the map you see the individual files and probably a folder (brand).
Not a map in a map.
(plain map no speedcams,poi,etc)

5) Copy "FastActivate.exe" to your device

Select 1
Select 2
Done.

6) Give a 15 sec reset and start the device if everything works fine
just then you can ad speedcams etc to the map

Well I need a map that has Portugal Spain and France but my gps has little memory but has a SD card slot I don't know if 2 or 4gb

Good I downloaded the Western Europe_1050_10176 with the navcore 9.541 SE_GL of tomtom xl does not start appears a cross in the sd card I do not know if it is because the card is 4gb and does not accept.

Wich bootloader you have.
Checking bootloader (the only reliable method)
Enter a device reset 15 sec.
Then turn on the device and hold the start button until you
get info screen. Which bootloader is there.

Is the navcore installed on the SD Card ?
