Postby shere » Mon Oct 14, 2013 3:20 pm

Hi, I have tried about 4 different Navocred but unabl to launch navocre. It freezes on the startup. I've tried the rider version also.

I have formatted the intrnal disk, ran the clear flash and also a reset of the power button.

Any ideas please?

When I run the utility I get the following

TTGO.BIF:
Not Found...
TTGO.BAK:
Not Found...
TTGO.ORI:
Not Found...
TTNAVIGATOR.BIF:
Not Found...

I have selected the correct drive and can browse the tomtoms hdd on my local computer.

OK copy the device's ttgo.bif file & post it here. Delete the DeviceSerialNumber & DeviceUniqueID before posting it.

Yes a new ttgo.bif file is created everytime the device is booted.

This file is not being created. I'm using Navcore 9.510 for 32mb devices. I've used the process several times on my other devices but this device it is stopping on the tomtom logo screen.

I have tried loading Navcore without the map and with the map. The map I am wanting to use is United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland_915_5074. This map works fine on my other devices.

When the Tomtom Start 2 on I can hear the drum beats and then it halts on the logo, usually the screen brightens and then enters the menu but it doesnt get that far.

I have tried the following from the Navocre installer;

9.500 Rider 32mb
9.510 32mb
9.701 32mb

I've also completed a low level format and checked the disk for any errors, all fine.

Did you edit the reskin file to let's X40?
Might be that your model does not the Navcore, setting it to X40 could overcome that.

9.510 is the current official navcore for a Start2. There is no need to use a modified version.

Should that be the case, then 9.510 SE ttsystem.rar is quite handy.
