I'm sorry, but I don't understand what you are trying to say.

Downunder35m wrote:TMC only works in the original emulation, so only self mode (for the DSA version) will work.
But most of the older SE verions can be tweaked with the setting "fixtmc" while TTS is set to off.
Have you tried if the original CAB works on your device after patching?

I have tried both DSA and SE versions, either traffic or voices won't work, never got both to work. Since DownUnder's 9.430 LE version doesn't give me a skin menu option, does that mean it defaults to Self?
I thought the fixtmc option was only to lock in a certain radio station, does it do something else?
Won't TTSoff make the voices not work?
I have not tried the original CAB version, since I wanted something newer I didn't see the point.

The Le will revert to default (self) if nothing else is possible.
You can try the normal version but I can't tell how it will perform.
With both of them sound should work in all emulations.

The TMC fix meinly changes the settings for the radio stations but if also set's a flag for devices with docking station.

Will Downunder's LE version support a setconfig.txt file? If it does, I can try the fixtmc and bton options and see what happens.
Am I right that TTSoff will turn sounds off, so I don't want this option?

Downunder likes DSA versions which do not support a setconfig.txt file.

If you are using either a VocalizerTTS computer voice or LoquendoTTS computer voice, TTSoff will turn off that computer voice.

I do use a computer voice so it will say the street names. Since Downunder used DSA, then I am at a dead end with his version. Seems the ONE XL is just too touchy to use anything other than the official 8.010 version (if I want traffic and sounds to work).

I already tried this version, and it didn't work either (no voices/traffic), but I'll give it another go with the fixtmc and bton options and see what happens.
Any other options you suggest I try with it?
Thanks for the suggestions.
