Confirm that when you open the europe west map folder, you see a bunch of files & not another single folder, that must be opened to see the files. while you have the folder open, do you see a .meta.dct file, which tells us that the map is patched?

i was need to download map TomTom Europe v.885.4008 to device TomTom GO 920
then i used FastActivate_v1.8.8.0 and everything looked ok.
but after this, i get bad idea, i accept TThome offer , to update navcore to 9430...

after this, i get ansver from PNA: "This map will not work on this device +-"
then i found this forum and i tried to download and run :
FastActivate_12.03.2012_Premium_edition_v1.8.8.5
but when i try patch navcore, i get message, that is "navcore already patched" (i dont understand in which time?)

and i am is end of my information...

I don't have such problem patching the 9.430.
Make sure to run FastActivate from the root of your device.

meantime, the TTcompany could not give more robust version of tomtom navcore 9430?
if they find that it is easy to patch?
I update it today ... we can somehow find out if it's 100%
the same version as the one where the patch is working correctly?

or through official upgrade TTHOME not detect a previous version of the patched navcore?

The lack of any map info here: CurrentMap= CurrentMapVersion=0.0 tells us that your map is not patched.

i had just these map files on previous navcore just then i make all of steps on FastActivate_Premium_edition_v1.8.8.0 and just then everything worked perfectly.

and many attempts now on 9.430 with FastActivate_12.03.2012_Premium_edition_v1.8.8.5
(all steps except TThome patch I tried repeatedly
I still have the opportunity to do some other patch map?

(directory where is stored map files i not touch anything)

I rather see the problem that immediately after the upgrade to navcore 9430 on the first attempt to start FastActivate FastActivate_1.8.8.0, and later 1.8.8.5 too:
step1 update meta - nothing to display
step2 step maps / poices / speedcams - everything end with correct response

I did not understand when concretely make patch
when immediately after the upgrade through TTHOME right when you first start FastActivate
displays a message, "our Navcore have been patched already." ??

That's it! Download this pre-patched 9.430 ttsystem file & model.txt. [Please Register or Login to download file] Copy both files into your unit overwriting the current ttsystem file. reboot

probable cause of my problem, I was following the official upgrade to 9430 once the first medicine did not use the latest (1.8.8.5) but 1.8.8.0
and then, although I used a newer, I did not want to work.

because now I have the same procedure done on Go730
But soon after the upgrade to navcore 9430 through TTHOME, I used the latest medical (1.8.8.5) and it worked!.

that is, if I appeared before this forum and I would have the latest medicine available, would not happen to me.
