Hello,
I have a Zoom (plus sign) problem after upgrading to Special Edition 9.4 from this thread. I installed the special edition so I could get my North_AM 880.3810 map to work. The zoom out button works great but pressing the zoom in results in a audible clunk sound. I finally figured out that if I keep pressing and holding just outside the plus area I can finally get the zoom to work. (It used to work fine under navcore 8). Any ideas?

Tomtom 920
Used fastactivate

This is the screen capture, delete the folder "screen" and all is good ;)

It wasn't necessary to install SE 9.430 to get your North_AM 880.3810 map to work. Patching 9.430 with Fastactivate Premium would have done the job.
NA 880.3810 is out of date. Edition 885 is current & Edition 890 will be out in less than 2 weeks.

Thanks.I redid the 9.40 update and tried patching with fastactivate premium. I did the 3 tabs from the bottom left (update/maps/system) and now have the maps not recognized problem. Would like to see if I can get this to work before trying SE again. Any ideas?

resolved...found tendriver uploaded pre configured ttsystem... now my map loads. don't know why fastactivatepremium didn't work on this

Is the error "No maps found" or "Can't use this map on this system"?

If it's all right, could someone tell me whether it's possible to install navcore 9.430 on a generic WinCE 5.0 device? Every year or so I update my pna and come back to navitotal (or austech) only to find the landscape has changed. Sorry if there is already an answer to this- I've Googled for and read about 20 pages/threads and still don't really get it.

What I tried didn't work. I copied a backup version to a 1GB sd card, changed ttgo.bif to have my DeviceUniqueID, used FastActivate to update meta.txt, maps/voices/speedcams and ttsystem/PNDNavigator. When I try to enter 'Navigation' from my pna's menu, nothing happens.

I know that previously, such 'Navigation' buttons would execute 'TomTom Navigator.exe' inside the 'TomTom Navigator' folder, but that file is missing in the backup. Also, ttgo.bif used to be ttnavigator.bif so I'm not sure if it works the same way. I have tried to get this to work by myself but I realise there must be something I'm missing. Could any of you shed some light on this for me?

Thanks in advance.

There are no updates for your wince except for maps. You are stuck with 7.910 9185

TT devices use Linux you device rund on Windows - so you can not use a Navcore.
Best option IMHO is to forget about TT and use Igo on a CE device.

Just returned from 10 days touring mainland Europe; your 9.430GO performed impeccably, no glitches, no need to delete 'mapsettings.cfg'. Truly impressive!
No TMC (GO910, plug-in antenna). Will try your 9.4TMCFix from post #1.

They changed to Linux? Wow- you can see what I mean when I say the landscape changes entirely every time I revisit the PNA-mod community :| But good for them, Linux is definitely the way to go.

Thanks for letting me know! I'll stick to 7.9 cores then and get a new device in the future. Much, much appreciated.

Having said that- do the latest maps still work with old devices?

I've been using this SE Navcore for a while (thanks guys ) but wanted to turn on bluetooth and also view my route. Both of these options seem to be missing from the menu. Can these be enabled, or do I need to download the official nvcore?

Cheers guys
