I don't have direction sound.
Before 9.430 it was ok.
I did format for XL drive and clean install.

1. Are you referring to either VocalizerTTS or LoquentoTTS?
2. OK
3. We never suggest formatting, except in the most severe cases.
4. With a clean install you lose personalized data.

Sry, I don't precisely understand about VocalizerTTS or LoquentoTTS.
If I reset the unit, then after switch unit on I can hear these drums sound.
I can't hear selected voice for direction.

1. VocalizerTTS & LoquentoTTS are the computer voices that you select for directions.
2. What is the voice that you have selected?

GO630 and NC 9.430

Thanks for any help.

I just let TomTomHome upgrade a friends GO 630 to NC 9.430.890926.1 (what do the last 7 digits mean anyway?)
After that it was possible to upgrade the map to 890.4222 (the newest), so I don't consider it a dumb thing to do.
The NC before the upgrade was the original 8.3something.

Of course I had to patch the navcore and the map + speedcams, wich I did with Fastactivate 1.8.8.6.

The whole is running flawless and although I could only test it for 2 days, I think it will be stable in the long run too.

Only thing wich is a pain to my eye are the ugly "old" 4400menu-icons. I wish there was a way to just replace the graphics 4401of the icons, without needing a modified navcore, wich doesnt fully support the hardware (lightsensor for example) or has stability issues. Since it's not my own device and my friend will be using it for a long (2000KM) journey, I can't afford to use "experimental" navcores.

Regards.

Download this .rar: [Please Register or Login to download file] Unzip & copy the 2 files to the root of the unit. You will have the new icons & auto day/night based on time rather than the light sencor.

Thanks.
I tried it, the menu looks great, but the voices went silent. Switching them on or off and changing the voice doesnt make a difference. Don't have the time to fiddle around further.

regards

Hi, there's no auto zoom any more with my ONE 3rd using NC 9.430.

Any idea how to activate it again?

Would help to know the emulation you use....
Automatic zoom should not be an issue, all you need to do is to set it up correctly.
If you don't have the menu option for it change to a different emulation. Settings will stay active if you go back even if the emulation would not have the option in the menu.

Hello I have tried all emulations. Most of them where really slow. in the moment I use 35 but there is no "activate Auto zoom".

"If you don't have the menu option for it change to a different emulation. Settings will stay active if you go back even if the emulation would not have the option in the menu." - I'd like to have the option to switch in the emulation I use - BC I like Auto zoom in the car. But in the moto I need fixed scaling to predict the curves :)

Well, I have the function in every emulation I tried, you're sure to look in the right place?
