I'm looking for a Navcore 9 for a Go700 whilst trying to fit two maps on it. I often find I'm just a few MB out and I need to find a navcore that has small size. Some seem to be 50MB+.

Can anyone recommend any compliant ones?

9.510 is just under 50, smallest V9 so far is the 9.500 for the Rider models.

I think I have tried 9.510 but I seem to get stall/crash issues with it.

Could you be so kind to provide good quality versions of both 9.510 and 9.500 please?

There is a new 9.510 with power on over the ignition...
But "seem" and "issues" leave me to believe it was not a Navcore problem ;)

Then let me rephrase: the navcore does crash and stall on the device. And besides, I have 7 x Go700s, all with the same issue.

Perhaps I should of initially asked, what is the most stable Navcore 9 for a Go 700.

Indeed, the 700 is a bit of the normal charts...
What emulations did you try and what version of the Navcore?
Was there any newer Navcore that already worked on your device?
Asking as quite a few users over the years had no problem using a V9 on a 300, 500 or 700.
But having a HDD installed can be the cause of trouble in your case.
I have a version for CF cards in several of my installers, I suggest you give the CF version a try.
But before that I would like to know if your bootloader is below 5.5xx ?

OK - then maybe my method is completely wrong. Usually, I format the hard drive and let TomTom Home install the latest 'official' navcore, which I think is 7.903 (from memory). I do not change the bootloader at all, which could be my problem.

As such, to use the latest v9.10 maps, I have tried a few v9 navcores from the sticky on this forum. Some stall on the TomTom startup screen and never get past that. Some do work, but are way over 50mb to have two maps installed. I did have a working Go700 with a v9 navcore and both maps, but can't for the life of me remember what it was.

Could you be so kind to point me to the CF version?

Problem one: Format - never do that unless no other option, a simple delete is sufficient.
Problem two: you ask for a small Navcore but the 7.903 is tiny compared to never Navcores.
Problem three: for V9 Navcores you should have at leat bootloader 5.5112

If you never messed with your TT you should have a 5.3xx BL installed, but we leave that for now.
You can try testing the 9.510 with Auto Power on as the kernel is slightly modified, or try the 9.485 in the X10 version.

1. I usually format because deleting often takes minutes, and I mean literally minutes!
2. I need a small Navcore basically to fit two maps which is doable on a 2.32GB HD. I need however a v9 navcore to instlal the latest maps.
3. I assume from your last statement that bootloaders are not built into navcores - I havnt not changed it nor know what it currently it.

The latest maps will work with your Navcore, you just have to select the right ones - check the chart ;)

Yes, but not a 4956 map and 4952 map simultaneously. I need 9.0xx or above that's stable.
