PLEASE HELP ME!!! TomTom XXL 550m Is it Bricked?

I bought this tt xxl 550m and an auction tag said starts but low memory. Well i charge the battery tried tt home found updates would not boot to main screen. It would only go as far as showing the tom tom screen. so i done some searching and read if i wiped it clean tt home would then load what i needed still wont work ive formatted, error checks, flash and im all new to the gps navcores and all If this can be fixed would someone please help me. Thanks

1. Was there a map on the unit when you did this?
2. We do not recommend wiping the unit clean or formatting, except in the most extreme cases.
3. Go here: TomTom Current Config for newbies {29.09.2011} Run this & post the results here.

the map i saved off the tomtom was USA_Canada_and_Mexico_P

You have a 7.893 navcore & either a non-readable map or no map at all.
Current XXL 550M navcore is 9.150.

ok i just dl 9.150 and put it on my tt what map version do i need to go with this and do i need patches for both map and navcore?

I know what you old map is. Do you need all 3 countries, or something with less coverage?

ok so now im getting to setup my tt but it gets to setting the time it reboots. heres what TTcurrentconfig shows

also what file should i be trying to patch in the map folder i still have map folder USA_Canada_Mexico_p
