Hi All,

Managed to dig my old Rider v1 out and wanting to use again as now work will depend on it and getting me around.
Wanting to update the old device badly as it needs it but after a search i'm now a little confused on what's the best route and some functions not working with the headset etc.
What's my best upgrade route for this device and can someone point me in the right direction?

Hello, i have upgraded my Rider 1. Upgraded the bootloader to 55012 and put the navcore 9.205 with the Europe 910-4892 map on a SD card. Works great. I can link my mobile phone with my rider and a scala headset also with my rider. Now i hear the voices in my headset and also when somebody rings me. I should try this.

It was not necessary to upgrade the bootloader to 5.5012, since the navcore 9.205 official bootloader is 5.5250.
