Rider Urban - Rider Professional

Postby mephistocles » Mon Apr 18, 2016 9:39 pm

So

Before i say the stuff below - ive found most of the relevant links for navcore and map files are now to pages that purely ask for adverts with no visible links even asking questionnaires to appropriate navcores / Maps etc

therefore heres the following

Ive stuck to the rules and not PM'd anyone

Managed to download navcore 9.510 on top of the 9.2*** and installed it with the autoloader, including patched files and fastactivate.exe

It gives me a basic screen and the map and tells me the satellites are being picked up

still my old map of eg 895.**

but no ability to input an address - the entry screen asking me to plot a route is missing. -basically all the menus are missing but the maps are running in the background

I therefore reinstalled my flash via Tomtom home for the old version of the navcore and the maps and it still working

Please can someone guide me to the appropriate guide in the forum to allow my TT to either

a) Run with the new Rider 5 skin and maps for 965 etc

b) run with the current skin on 9.2 and the maps for 965 etc

Questions if anyone able/happy to answer:

WIll my rider Urban allow the 9.510 navcore and the latest maps or should i stick to the older navcore. - eg If i were buying the latest maps from TOMTOM would it keep me in that NAVcore version and just point me at the 965 maps?

OR

are there any advantages plumbing the later NAVcore 9.5 onwards onto the rider eg other functions

Many thanks

J

Use this one

[Please Register or Login to download file]

You can use the latest Rider navcore 9500 (9510 is not for Rider) and the latest maps.
The main advantage from the 9500 is that there is a maximum of 100 waypoints (not 48)
and main screen with planning for winding roads.
