TomTom One 3rd Edition (1Gb) Navcore ?

Postby wiske80 » Mon Dec 17, 2012 7:23 pm

Hey guys,

now, would you guys recommend upgrading this oldie :-) to a navcore 9 version, and if yes which one?

Its currently runs the 8.010 NC. and this one has 32Gbof RAM.

I have experience with this old one and NC 8.562 SE, but i never went higher... so i was wondering if anyone did a NC 9.xxxx on this device that worked smoothly

I have this unit and installed Navcore 9.485 with Memoryboost swapfile from this site and latest ALG and IQ route maps set to emu 34. If you follow his instructions in setting it up, it will work fine.

Mmm - Link seems to be down. Try this

- 9.485 with memory boost -

I don't use any Loquendo voices - only Vocaliser TTS but actually Basic English voices without txt 2 speech works best.

Please no links to other forums.

Emu 34 is chosen after all the navcore installation and map upgrade processes are complete - go to last page of options and tap the DSL skins icon -and < or > to choose (double tap) 34 if u don't like Self tray at the bottom of the screen - I've tried the others and they either freeze the unit or run too slow. The unit reboots at that point reloading the emulation u've chosen.

You don't set the map to emu34.
Navcore 9.485 for most devices Read the instructions carefully & it will make sense to you.

The links appear to be normal.

Links in the post go to a download page, where you see button for all the parts, but those "part" button links are all broken...

The links are working all fine, so please check more careful next time or use a download manager.

Sorry guys for attempting to provide a link to another source for the Navcore for wiske80 but I certainly cannot download NC 9.485 with memory boost from Navitotal. I had to go elsewhere. And thanks to Downunder35m for his diligent efforts in working it out.

well craigs.. it is downloadable from here, only you should know how... (that part is unclear)..

you will first come to a page with all the part buttons... but those are just the ads... below that you will see some nice german text that we all should know, because we all speak german, and below that a nice little textbox, where a password should be provided... that password you can find in the signature of Downunder35m's posts..

after that the world will open up....

I will try your tips craigs.. thanks

its not about google translate, because eventually that's what i used... Its about that these type of (download)sites have so many ads and you think that the german text is an ad and that you should click on one of the buttons. don't tell me you really translate every text that is one these kinda sites?

If I get to site in let's say russian or chinese I have to use a translator, and so far I always found the download links and even managed registrations that way...

As you found out, the "part" buttons are not broken.

Where on Navitotal did you post, before you went elsewhere, that you were having problems with the 9.485 download?

Thanx for posting your concerns.

As you also found out, there are NO AD BUTTONS on [Please Register or Login to download file] .

Hi
You moderators deserve endless praise for being so patient with endless "link" issues and it's great the link at the end of this thread works for wiske80. I was going to "Navcore 9.485 for most devices" pressing the LINK button after the detailed explanation which took me to "[Discussion] Navcore 9.485" which had a LINK button that took me back again. I'm obviously looking in the wrong area for the actual Navcore itself with the various options Downunder has amazingly organised.
