I have just joined so please forgive any forum etiquette mishaps.

I have a very old TomTom ONE 3rd Edition (512MB). The unit works fine but the maps are really old and because of that I don't use it. I thought I would update the map to make it more useful.

I would be grateful for some guidance on the best navcore/map version to put on. I just require a UK map.

I have backed up all files on the device but I have never made any additions (voices etc.) so I have no special requirements.

The ttgo.bif file looks like this:

Use the map

1) Make a backup of your Device and delete the map.

Copie the chosen map to your Device in his own folder.
If you open the map you see the loose files and probably a folder (brand).
Not a map in a map.

2) Copy "FastActivate.exe" to your TomTom device in the root
topic14003.html
Run "FastActivate.exe".
Select 2 and 3
Done

Worked perfectly, all updated.
