TomTom Start help

Postby hpscorpion » Sun Sep 21, 2014 7:20 pm

Good afternoon.

my gps is the tomtom start model 1ex00. I can not turn on the gps. he is always frozen in the initial image "tomtom" already formatted and tried to install navcore from tomtom home. but the problem persists. I've tried several navcores and the gps is always frozen. how can I solve this problem?

Welcome to Navitotal.
What navcore & map do you have on your start?

Did you use FastActivate to patch both navcore and map, then confirmed that they were actually patched?

TT Home "Operate my device" is just an emulation/simulation & can't/shouldn't be used for any type of testing. So back to my question in post 5.

something very strange. after trying over 20 navcores. tried this navcore "Navcore-9.101.516023-For-TomTom-ONE-XL-32MB-RAM". was the one who came out of the initial image. but this navcore is not for my model and when I click to go to the menu gps blocks and reboot. maybe some navcore that I had not yet tried to solve this problem?

Have you done a 30 Sec "Hard" reset?
These are the current Start navcores. Have you tried them? Not a modded version.
Start : 9.057
Start 40/45/50/55 : 9.510
Start² : 9.510
Start Xl : 9.510

the version I found was this [Please Register or Login to download file]
My gps is TomTom Start
I will tell you the steps I took.
formatted the drive in fat32 gps
I pasted the files on the drive.
I turned off the cable.

the gps remains frozen in "tomtom"
I did something wrong?

Was this unit functioning properly before you started the upgrade?

Yes. navcore the one that makes the gps overcome freezing is talked about earlier. does not make sense. I do not know what else to do

If you mean "Navcore-9.101.516023-For-TomTom-ONE-XL-32MB-RAM", then I'll restate the question. Do you have a usable
navcore & map combination for your Start??
