I for some resone I have no sound, not during boot, not while operating the menu and no voices.
I did factory reset the unit and also removed and added the voices with the help of TomTomHOME2.
I tried the same setup on a 2nd TT Start2 with the same result so I can rule out that it is a harware problem.

I suspect that the NavCore is incomplete or incorrect.

Any suggestion which NavCore would function correctly on this unit?

None!!! 9.540 is current for your Start. Plus your map is 950MB, I doubt his navcore will fit.

There is no LoquendoTTS folder
Sounds folder is empty
Voices folder has the following files; data14.chk, data14.tlv, data14.vif, data15.chk, data15.tlv, data15.vif

Without the 950MB map, 96,5MB is used for the NAVcore and thereis 1,74GB availble free space.

I have cross checked it with my (functional) backup and there
the LoquendoTTS folder has content; bin, data and lib folders and a default7.session, LicenseCode7.txt files
Sounds folder is empty
Voices folder has the following files; data14.chk, data14.tlv, data14.vif, data15.chk, data15.tlv, data15.vif

Adding the LoquendoTTS folder to the unit did not help, also removing, downloading and adding the voices with the help of TomtomHome2 did not help.
Did also a Factory reset which did not solve the problem but it now gives me a warning message that did not accure before;
Please Note: You have selected a computer voice. The language spoken by this voice does not match the language on your screen.
I think this message is not relevant because it does not explain why there is no sound (besides the voices) but just for kicks a added other languages and selected them one by one.
In the end it did not matter.

Thanks for the tip, it did not work with the 9.60 map with Navcore 9.51 the 1st time but it works now.
Still a bit confusing to me all those Navcores and on which model they will (not) function. And those third party modified Navcores make it even harder to figure it out.

I would like to give something back ,If anyone is interested, by making this functional Navcore 9510 available. I just need to now how to make it available.

Fix= Used the 9510 Navcore (got from backup)

FFR, stick with 9.510. It is compatible with ALL maps. I have it on my GO. For future updates, you will just remove the old map, copy in a new map, patch the map with FastActivate, disconnect & reboot. Done.
