Are you using the Europe Truck 940.5999 map?

Give the new installer for the 9.702 a try, I included a version for the 32mb models as well.
Add the map and cams, activate them and if in doubt change the emulation in the skin chooser at the end of the menu.

Silly question here perhaps but can you run non-truck maps on a truck navcore, i.e. a US map?

Because I only have one device and at the moment that has a Truck navcore and I sometimes drive vans and lorries.
I'm off to the US and was just asking...
Do non-truck maps work on truck navcores?

OK, that's 2 good answers. You shouldn't have any problems.

Does this cure the 'height issue' on the keyboard - the ' and " missing??

No, but this tutorial, "A workaround to set a Truck's Height in Feet & Inches" makes the issue easy to handle. It is the first topic in the tutorial sticky section.

Yeah, I know how to work around it, by putting feet in, clicking done, then back, then click after the height, and put the inches in.
But, I've just stuck with the older navcore and maps instead

A LOT of trailer swaps in a day, can't be bothered messing about, so stuck with the older map (900) and navcore where it still has the ' and " on the keyboard.
Can we change the keyboard or anything like that, there must be something that can be done, or is it just that the new navcores are for higher resolution / bigger screens?

I'll take a new map & navcore, plus the few seconds it takes to enter the workaround, any day over a 2 1/2 year old map plus the few seconds it takes to make a keyboard entry.
