TTom One Xl

App 8.395 > 4.4gb free of 7.39 card
OS 342099
boot5.5274

I recently put Navcore 9.026.483454.Basic Pack. onto my TomTom One XL, mainly just to see if it would work. Long story short it's opened up a lot of new features. One of which is the TomTom Jukebox which looks pretty awesome.

I can access the menus fine, it lists the music on the memory card but when I 'click' on a file it appears to play, but no sound comes out.

I've changed the speaker options to 'Internal Speaker' to no avail. I'd really like this to work, but so far no joy.

I've looked at the 'bin' folder and all the relevant files appear to be in place, however some intense googling lead me to a file 'demoplayer.sh'

If anyone can help me get this working, or confirm that it indeed does not, that'd be great.

Thanks in advance

The sound works for Voice?? The files that Jukebox has or uses Im not sure of? Could this be a hard ware issue with the one XL.?? If some one has a working version maybe they could tell me the files that our needed.
Thanks.

I think I had the same problem. The hardware should be ok. I installed the voice and the voice works. The music I tried to play didn't go on. The interface looks like it was playing, but I can't hear anything.

If I'm not mistaken, a ONE XL can't use the internal & external (card) memory at the same time.

you are right! The ONE XL can only use either internal or external card. If you do have both on, the external card gets used. Then you can't even access the internal card from your computer. So I think the problem might not be two cards get used at the same time. In the case that you have two cards in, the unit only takes the external card and everything is on that card. It takes the card as the only card it has. It is like that the external card blocks the internal card completely. Hope that helps!

Thanx. I'm well aware of the way the ONE XL internal/external memory works. I read justvisiting's post 3 to mean he only had music on his card. I could be mistaken. It doesn't make much difference, since his last post was 2 months ago.

The old One, XL, .. devices are NOT able to play music on internal speaker, because their hardware does not support the (higher) sample rate.
If you have bluetooth in your device (One first, One second, XL first) you can play music through bluetooth on a device with A2DP capabilities (carradio, headset, ..).

Thanks a lot for your help. It seems easily even for me, but you mentioned 2 choices.
Which two are they?
I see there 5 navcores 9...
