update tomtom xl one navcore

Postby cafc » Tue Sep 18, 2012 7:28 pm

Hi,

I have a tomtom one xl device and I would like to update my navcore ( my tomtom has the original navcore: 8,01) , but I'm with some dificulties to find the last navcore available to it and easy links to download (some links are broken or send-me to ilividSetup webpage and then the links don't work.
Can anyone please help me.
Thanks in advance.

Give me a list of the navcores that you tried & had trouble with.

Thanx

One hint for all that's related to Ilivid:
Usually you get to a site like that through a link service or protection service.
Most of these sites come with one or two dominant "download" buttons - that will take you bogus.
In the top right corner you see a counter or a "skip" button" - wait for the counter to go to zero first- click there and you will be directed to the download you seek.
Firefox is pretty handy for that too:
If you position the mouse over a link the statusbar at the bottom will show you the address of the link.
This does not work for some buttons that activate a Java script for a pop up.
As a general "rule" you can say that a real download link should open in a new tab of your browser, but does not pop up a new window in front of the old.
Hope that helps a bit, if so it could be copied somewhere with general access.
