Updated my TT720 but 2 Problems remain

Wed Nov 30, 2011 4:47 am

i just signed up on this forum today and did lots of reading and managed to upgrade my tt720 to DSA Navc.9.160 pieno GO 520, 720, 920, 530, 730 e 930 using map: north america 2gb 880.3810 and everything is perfect thus far except 2 things i cant figure out.

1: is it possible to turn my TT720 on automatically by just starting my car? my garmin nuvi if i leave the switch on everytime i turn the car on the gps will also turn on, i dont have to reach over to press the power button or anything.

2: im not sure if its something with this nc but everytime the device boots up a lady speaks in spanish, same as when i connect to a computer and shut the sytem off theres always a spanish lady talking. is it possible to stop this? Ive went through the root folder and erased everything spanish and it seems to still do it.

1. No, it is not possible.
2. Connect your 720 to your computer. Start TT Home. On page 2 click "Manage my GO". Make sure that "Items on Device" is the active tab. Scroll down the list of items on your device until you see "Start-up Sounds". Click the blue button with the white +. [size=85]Remove any start-up sound that you don't want.
Follow the same procedure for "Shut-Down Sounds".
