Tue Dec 04, 2012 6:38 pm

Hey all,

i downloaded a 900.4602 map, but my current navcore is 8.562 SE (patched) so this map doesn't work.. So i wanted to upgrade the navcore...

which one would work good on this one? it has 64mb RAM..

Do i need a patched NC??

Also i dont want it to make my device slow and unstable...

please advice... thanks in advance

holyhead is correct. The current official navcore for your unit is 9.465. The link is to a pre-patched SE version.

first of all thanks to the both of your replies.. i downloaded the files from the link.

i'm only not so sure about the sequence of going about it.. .

i see: [email protected] ( must be the 9.465 SE)
i see: 9.465.2-2025.CAB-navcore-LE.cab ( for TT One IQ v5)
and i see: 9.465 SE ttsystem.rar

I now have 8.562 SE on my device..

what is the proper way to install it..

Delete everything and dump the contents of [email protected] to the device root and reboot to let in install??

Or do i first need to copy the original tomtom files 9.465.2-2025.CAB-navcore-LE.cab, reboot, then copy the [email protected] files, reboot again...

thanks in advance..

Delete everything.

First copy the original tomtom files 9.465.2-2025.CAB-navcore-LE.cab to your One

then 9.465 SE ttsystem.rar to the one and overwrite the excisting file.

Now the Navcore can be used.

Place map and activated

NO, NO, NO!!!

@ wiske80,

Download 9.465.2-2025.CAB-navcore-LE.cab.
Download 9.465 SE ttsystem.rar

Copy the contents of the 9.465.cab into your One IQ, overwriting any common files.
Copy the contents of the 9.465 SE ttsystem.rar into your One IQ, overwriting any common files.
Patch you map with FastActivate Premium 1.8.9.0 Updated 02.12.2012, if you have not already done so.
DONE!!

"][email protected] is needed only if you use TT Home "Operate my Device".

It goes here as shown by the X.XXX.XXXX examples.

With XP
C:\Documents and Settings\ User Name\ApplicationData\TomTom\HOME\Profiles\?????????.default\extensions\ "][email protected]

With Vista or Windows 7
C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Roaming\TomTom\HOME\Profiles\?????????.default\extensions\[email protected]

With Mac:User's_Home/Library/ApplicationSupport/TomTomHOME/Profiles/????????.default/Resources/Extensions/[email protected]/X.XXX.XXXX.framework
