Main program without map (COM 7 baud 57600)

Just extract and copy the original.exe file into Mobilenavigator folder, overwriting the older original.exe file, to set the COM port to COM 1

Instructions:

Extract Mobilenavigator and NavitelContent folders into the root of your MMC (SDMMC)

Run Mobilenavigator.exe to launch the program

How to change language from Russian into English:

From the map screen

1.Push menu icon on the lower right corner of the screen
2.Push the second button from the left on the second row
3.Push the third icon from the left on the first row
4.Push the first icon from the left on the first row
5.Choose english from the drop down menus at the both option
6.Push icon on the lower right corner to apply english menu and map


Notes :

1. Put map in SDMMC\NavitelContent\Maps

2. On the Initial launch, there is an error message about the skin, it's normal, just press "ok", it's only one time

3. On the first launch, the language is Russian, u can change it to English via the setting menu

4. Tested and working on Chinese GPS sirf IV, Ram 128, Resolution 480x272

5. For another com port, just request it here

6. For 800x480 device, just change the skin to NS HD skin

7. Supposely to work on wince 5 too, but I can't test it, 'coz I got no wince 5 device

8. Got it from some russian site, all credits belongs to the original Russian uploader, whoever he might be xD

Just copy the mscr file into navitel's folder, overwriting the older one

I have change the original.exe for com1 and mscr for sdmmc, it can't detect the map. Please help, thanks.

Menu -----> Setting ------> Device -----> Folder settings -----> choose the your map folder from the drop down menu

It's ok with the map, but even I have change the original.exe with com1, still it's use COM7 when I check in Satellites setting.

It will always list COM 7 in the Satellites setting, I only changed the binary of the exe file to use another COM port, in this case COM 1

So even if COM 7 listed as the port which used in the Satelittes setting, it will always utilize COM 1 :)

Ya can download official skin at navitel site and the unofficial skins at navitel forum

How to lock the last setting, because after I shutdown the GPS, I have to set it from the beginning again.Thanks

Run MobileNavigator.exe to launch the program, not the original.exe file

One of the purposes of the MobileNavigator.mscr is to save setting permanently, which only works when the mobilenavigator.exe executed :)

Try the COM 2 baud 4800 link, it should work on 9600 baud too

Dear Paleskin,

my GPS is in Com 2 baud 57600, i tried to use COM2 baud 9600 but no luck....

do you have Com 2 57600 exe?
