New version of Navitel 5.1.0.47: priority lanes display, interactive interface and other changes
What’s new in Navitel 5.1.0.47:

Displaying of priority lanes at maneuver.

Navitel will help to get ready for the next maneuver in advance, indicating the right lane for changing. User can choose, whether the hint for priority lanes at maneuver will be indicated at the top or at the bottom of display, or deactivated at all in the program settings.

Sensors of “Navitel.Traffic” service and satellites information are updated.

Sensor “Navitel.Traffic” now displays information about traffic jams in the city in points-from one to ten, and sensor “Satellite” shows the amount of active satellites. Red color of satellite icon means that current user’s location is not defined, yellow satellite color stands for obtaining data on the coordinates through A-GPS, and icon becomes green, when there are no less than 4 active satellites.

New search of the “Nearest” POI.

Before searching the nearest POI, user is offered to choose the place, according to the search will be done: near the needed address, along the route near finish point, or around the place pre-specified by cursor on the map.

Map rotation with two fingers.

If device display supports technology Multi-touch, rotation with the help of two fingers on the device display allows switching map orientation by cardinal points. For devices without Multi-touch support map rotation is available with smooth finger movement at the scale.

Speeding warnings.

Apart from Speedcam warnings, Navitel can warn user about speeding at the current section of the road. To adjust the warnings settings (visual or voice, the scale of speeding’s) go to Settings menu, to “Warnings” section.

Option “Rotation during movement”.

Function of map rotation during movement is changed. Map rotation is done now according to user’s movement, in spite of direction of the route.

Route planning is improved.

Updated route planning, taking into account traffic jams information, allows avoiding unnecessary detours while routing. The mistake with route in a straight line during automatic re-routing is corrected. Changes were also made to the “short” routing. Option of routing, taking into account U-turns, was adapted.

Visual effects.

Displaying of 3D-models on the map were improved, at scale 2000km background color was changed to black (Space). The maximum amount weather forecasts at the map is reduced to 5 objects. Map rendering is improved.

Changes were made to the function of automatic maps updates verification.

Traffic jams information uploaded earlier will be available when restarting the program.

Support of smartphones and tablets with high display resolution was improved

Possible voice stutterings were corrected at some Android-devices.

Stability and working speed of Navitel Navigator were improved.

Attention, users: display priority lanes at maneuver function will work only at official Navitel maps release Q4 2011.

what is your device's installed software ?(before installing of Navitel) if your previous software has a Maplaunch.ini file in root so you must edit it for use of Navitel and copy to root of SD Card.

Applying for a mods position?

When you are referring to the problem goldeneleven describes, it's needed to know the answer to what was installed originally so the launch button works and launches Navitel. To do that, changes must be made to maplaunch.ini. There is no uniform solution and nor Trosten nor me has a crystal ball to know what changes exactly are to be made. These changes are device and (old) software dependent. Get it?

Sorry,I use China GPS device with Navitel 3.5.0.895 before, so what changes must be made to maplaunch.ini, and where I can find this maplaunch.ini. Thankyou.

Dear Geronimo as i see it was your first post in this thread and if your device has a problem with installing of this new version so you must explain the problem and then friends try to solve the problem.anyway you said your device has Navitel 3.5 .it is so simple ..please go to first post of this thread and download the Navitel 5.1.0.47 .extract it in root of your device's SD card then run Navitel.exe.
but about maplaunch.ini file you must take a look at your present version of navitel (3.5.0.895) files.is there any maplaunch.ini file in your SD card? (i guess there is no maplaunch.ini ...)

Hi, thank´s for the files!
I´ve installed navitel in SD card, but it has the same error.
I was running garmin mobile xt, in SD card, before install navitel. And in the internal memory of my GPS is installed Ndrive.
Could you please explain how can i know if there is a Maplounch.ini file in root? And How can i edit it?
