If you don,t have a sys.txt that is not really nessecairy.

Go to settings
GPS
choise
port 2
baud rate 4800
Enabled GPS and tick the box

Then you got the message
GPS receiver is connected
If not baudrate on 57600
Still GPS receiver cannot be found

try
Port auto
baudrate auto
and choise for autodetect maybe that helps

I cannot find such options in my settings :(...also, shouldn't the files be like *.map? because the files that are already in my gps are *.map, so it maybe cannot read fdl or poi or the rest?

I wonder if you have Igo 8 because we are talking about Igo8.

I saw that, but since in the title it refered to namvan F35, i guessed it worked for both... But as far as i've checked, igo8 can be installed only on windows based gps or android systems? or am I wrong?

Wrong. Only WinCE not Android.
If it ain't broke don't fix it!
ALWAYS BACK-UP YOUR FILES/FOLDERS BEFORE MAKING EDITING CHANGES!

I've checked installation vids and for some reason i found installation only with sd. Do you know if I can do it directly on gps device? and also, pretty much the instalation is deleting all the gps(factory) files and then copying all from IGO8? sry for asking so much... I bought this gps 7 years ago, and didn't really updated it ever...

Hi there! Did everything you said above, everything installed successfully, but when I press the iGO icon, a FatalError regarding Language Loading pops up. Any ideas?
Also when I connect it to my PC it doesn't seem to be visible as a Removable Disk.
