Can anyone help?

I tried to unlock a Navman and i got more than i bargained for .

it has a computer usb link like it needs an update and it wont change nomatter what . Does anyone have any ideas what i can do to restore it?

I had backed up the files but now all seem to be corrupted.

I used visual unlock, used Visual and Visual.auto on the flash and Visual ins and the Igo UK & irl on the sd card.

I have renamed the Igo file but no change ,, its frozen on the start up menu now ( nolonger on the power USB screen ) and i was following the instructions (or thought i was) and most of your links fatboyfun on this issue are missing.

Where am i going wrong?

If you have the discs you can restore a device from them, if not you can download an image of the disc from navman's site and burn it to a DVD.

With navman's (and mio's) you can brick the device by messing with the startup sequence.
So I'd try to restore it to factory settings first before any further attempts to unlock it.

How do i tell that i have finally broken it >....it wont connect to the pc now

It looks like you can write for help regarding your device at that site. That may be the way to go for now.
