Unlock Navman MY65T

Thu Mar 24, 2011 3:36 pm

Hi Everyone,

I got myself a Navman MY65T when I was in melbourne recently for a holiday with the understanding that it supports international maps but when I'm back in singapore, checked with Navman, they don't support Singapore/Malaysia maps. Any advice how I can unlock and load the maps I need?

Thank you!

Hi chas521,

I did but there wasn't any mention for the MY models. I saw a post on the discussion about MY50T but no one responded, I thought I try to find out here.

Fatboyfun is pretty good with Navman. Hopefully he will see this and chime in.

Ok i've done some research on the Navman MY series and it appears that they are a rebranded Mio Moov type device.

So download [Please Register or Login to download file] which is the official Mio Moov unlock.
Follow the instructions on [Please Register or Login to download file] webpage entitled Installation Navman F10, F15, F25, S-Series, C-Series / Mio Moov-Series

Now your device boots to a desktop and you can run any software you like. Tomtom and iGO Primo work best.

Please be aware that Mio Moovs can be bricked by incorrect editing of it's startup files, And as always you do this at your own risk!

So, Punkass, any luck with the unlock? As a new MY65T owner I'm curious as to whether it worked. Mostly because I want to install new voices but running the TomTom software appeals to me as well.
