How do you install this map?

You have to extract the downloaded file and copy them in the map folder of your device or SD card. Which folder or file name you have to use depends on your device type: look >>>here

Copy the Locked or the unlocked image? can i update the map in the future from the original website?

Of course the unlocked - if you downloaded the locked version you have to unlock it with Image Unlocker before.
Real updating maps from original source is not possible, only downloading new version and unlocking again.

I had a problem with my Garming and I updated the maps on 2.2 version. But when I choose from the main menu Settings ~> System ~> Maps, the Garming Device shuts down. I rollbacked to the previous originan version and I had no any probelm. I tried with two different unlocked versions and the same problem occured. It is not possible to use the maps option from the settings menu.

I tried but the same problem occurred. I tried firtst with the posted version on 09/01/2012. The maps are in Greek but when I select Settings ~> System ~> Maps the device shuts down. I finally tried with the version on 01/03/2012 "Map of Greece", I downloaded the Greek version but the maps are in greeklish. The weird think is that I do have access to the above mentioned menu. The deviced doesn't shut down. I noticed on the site that the version has a defect defect at Nüvi 37xx. I have 3760T. I rolled back to 2.3 (09/01/2012) the maps are again on Greek but the same problem withe the maps menu. Any ideas? It will be really appreciated !!

Thank you. Is there a link/thread about the firmware update? I am not that familiar with GPS devices. (Details. Software version 2.2, GPS Firmware 2.2)
