Thanks for the post but i'm having problems with this map on my brand new Garmin Echomap 50s.

I stored the gmapsupp.img in the Garmin-folder on an SD-card.
Started the 50s - is says "map not supported".
Tried to unlock with gimgunlock tool - it gives the log
Parsing fat use rootdir, fatstart=9, fatend=320
Skipping plain subfile MARINAS .SRT
Skipping plain subfile MARINAS .MDR
Skipping plain subfile F0000061.GMP
Skipping plain subfile F0000062.GMP
Skipping plain subfile D0000030.GMP
Skipping plain subfile G0000027.GMP
. . .
Skipping plain subfile V0000058.GMP
Skipping plain subfile BLUCHART.MPS

Sadly unsuccessfull.

Any ideas ?

Update:
I found an old version of Fast IMG Unlocker 1.4 in my filestash and it was able to do something with the gmapsupp.img file. It updated the timestamp - and now the 50s does not complain about unsupported map, but is still does not show the map.
Tried with a newer version of Fast Img Unlocker 2.1 but no effect.

first ... unl.img means unlocked image .. so .. dont unlock it again
second .. r u sure your device can read g2 vision maps ?

Hi, i tried with the BlueChart g2 Vision VEU710L (Denmark Skagerrak and Kattegat) v9 and it worked fine. The Garmin-folder contains two files though - one gmapsupp.img and one gmapsupp.unl - probably the old unlock-file.

I think i trashed the downloaded file uploaded in this post - i will download a fresh copy tomorrow.
