City Navigator Australia and New Zealand NT 2012.10

Thank you very much for the maps. I loaded the unlocked image and 3D map in subdirectory Map on my 3790T navigator and it worked a treat.

However I loaded Junction View file in subdirectory I named JCV and it doesn't seem to work. Am I doing something wrong? Or is it to do with the Australian version?

Apologies if I posted this in the wrong place..

Is it just me or does the xml file say that this map is 2011.20 and NOT 2012.10 as in the topic tiltle?

Bot the mapsource and gmapsupp.img files say that this map is 2011.20.

I think, it is just you, colint.
You might have done something wrong, can't tell what exactly. I have it on my MapSource as 2012.10 and also on Garmin device in GMAPPROM.IMG format and all works fine.

Thank you. I downloaded the "MapSource - Locked" from Fileserve OK (had paid for 1 month) but how do install it into MapSource?

If you have downloaded RAR archive which contains folder "'City Navigator Australia & New Zealand NT 2012.10.gmap" then extract folder (using WinRAR) into location of your preference (usually C:\Mapsource\Maps) and then download Unlock Mapsource v1.7. Place it into the folder of your 2012.10 map and execute (make sure MapSource is not running).
Open MapSource and voila! However your maps is still locked. I guess, using this great forum you will find ways to unlock the map.

Thank you - that worked perfectly. Yes, am fine with unlocking thanks. I have XP so placed the files here:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\GARMIN\Maps\City Navigator Australia And New Zealand NT 2012.10.gmap

sorry this a real newbie question... i have downloaded the above but am really unsure how to load it in my Garmin Nuvi.... can someone help guide me?

this map is for use in MapSource
if you have install MapSource so copy the unpacked gmap folder in garmin map directory - and mapsource will see the map
now connect your device with usb to pc and transfer the image from Mapsource to your device

Thank youuuu sooooooooooooo much for the info. After few times of trial and error, I finally managed to install mapsource and transfered the maps onto my device...
