I have a Garmin DriveSmart 55 (not purchased in Australia), would like to install City Navigator® Australia and New Zealand NT map, seems the file is deleted couldn't be downloaded. Is there alternative file hosting site?
Instruction for installing Australia map on the device is would be grateful!

Welcome to the forum, secondly these are not the latest maps but more critical is your device cannot use Unlocked maps

Hey GarminNuvi, I am trying to install the maps to my Zumo660. I have previously downloaded and installed maps before but been some time and have forgotten the steps.
I have 2020.1 and Top v4 installed currently. I downloaded the files for 2025.20 and Topo v6, but kinda stuck.
- I think previously we used to download the maps and then unlock them. I can see the downloaded file for gmap3d.img but my device has both the .img and .sum files, do I just replace the .img file and leave the old .sum as is for the 3d file?
- I forgot how to maintain both city and topo maps in the device, since both of them have the gmapsupp.img files. The new files I downloaded has the city map at around 500mb and the Topo map at around 3.79GB. If I copy it over, the topo/city nav files will overwrite each other.
- Is there a way to have the Topo map read off the SD card instead of the Device storage?
- I think we had to install it on Basecamp first, and then to device? I have forgotten the way to do it, and using Map Product Manager is asking for unlock code.
- Do we need any other files? gmapprom.img?

Your device should have enough space in the internal storage to substitute the 3 files with the latest 2026.10 not sure if your device has Lifetime map updates ?
You have not said where you download these from so I cannot tell if they are Unlocked, but it is an easy Drag & Drop using GimgUn.Rename them as below and copy to your device and SD card respectively. Leave the old .unl & .sum as they are redundant now.

Thanks for the reply! I got the files from gpsurl, couldn't find the 2026.10 here. I found the topo v6 map there as well from your post. I don't think I have the JCV file, and will search for the updated POI in this forum as well.
