Hi @GarminNuvi, I am still bit stuck here and would really appreciate some help :)
- I found the relevant JCV file
- I don't have any gmapprom.img from the city navigator. I also checked the files linked to the first post here and can only see gmapsupp.img
- I have two gmapsupp.img, one from the City Navigator (downloaded from this thread's first post, around 492MB, another for 2025_20 which is 505mb) and the one for topo that's 3.8GB.
- I am guessing the files from this thread is same as the HERE versions we used to get before?

I don't have lifetime map updates for the device, Garmin didn't sell that when I purchased my Zumo back in 2010 :(
Following your file structure:
- I can copy the 3d file to device for city navigator to device
- I can't find the gmapprom file for the city navigator
- I can copy the jcv file D3531430A.jcv came with the 2025_20 to the device
- I can copy the topo gmapsupp.img to the sd card
- I don't know what to do with the gmapsupp.img file for the City Navigator, should I rename this to gmapprom.img?

This is my current device files for City Navigator HERE 2020.1 and Topo v4. It seems I only have one gmapsupp.img file in the device for both Navigator and Topo v4, and no files on my SD card.

Thanks

Edit:
Following this tutorial thread: tutorials-with/image-names-and-paths-for-garmin-devices-t4675.html#p33390
Should I put the City Nav gmapsupp in device, and the other gmapsupp in SD card, (Delete the current 2.9GB one from my device) and leave the gmapapprom.img as is on the device?

Hi you nearly had it, yes you need to rename the .img file to be compatible with your device & SD card as below, not all devices are the same.
CN Aus & NZ NT 2025.20 -HERE ALL
ON zūmo 660
Garmin\gmapprom.img (renamed)
Garmin\gmap3d.img
Garmin\JCV\D2563430A.jcv

TOPO Australia & New Zealand v6
On SD card
Garmin\gmapsupp.img(as downloaded)

You should update your device software with Garmin Express, as what I can see are out of date.
If you are still unsure Download [Please Register or Login to download file] it will give you a safe way to remove the old map.It will also prompt you if you have the wrong names or location.

Make a copy of your garmindevice.xml & put it into my
