Can someone explain how to install the file onto my GPS? I have donwloaded the .rar file and extracted it but I don't know how to proceed from here. Thanks.

Sorry I'm pretty new to this. I downloaded the file called CNAUNZNT2o17.1o-HERE-MS-L.rar. I have a Garmin 64s and I use a mac. Does that help? Thanks :)

So you have to download the unlocked Img Image and you may copy in one SD memory card in a directory named \Garmin under the name gmapsupp.img and should be recognised by your device!
Otherwise you connect your device with USB and in a mass storage you see where are the .img files and there you copy the gmapsupp.img under the name gmapprom.img
Becarefull the file that you download to be unlocked one otherwise you have to unlock it first!
