Installation:
Internal Memory: Rename gmapsupp.img to gmapprom.img and copy it into the garmin folder
SD-card: Create a folder called garmin and copy gmapsupp.img into it

Hi Guys

This is my first post so hello everyone.

Does anyone have a cut down version so it will fit on my nuvi250. I spent hours last night trying to get it to 1.7gb then putting it all back into 1 image without much luck.

If you look at the map above ive been trying to remove all the light blue countrys and keep the darker blue.

Hi,You can download all the countries indivually if you want,just pick what you want,do a search on this site !!

i have a small problem. How to put the ADRIAROUTE and CN 2011.40 on the same sd cadr. I hhave a try but without resulrs.
my divace is KENWOOD DNX 5260 BT

Just to announce: At least the file in archive (Garmin City Navigator Europe NT 2011.40-Portugal.rar) I downloaded was corrupted. Any suggestions??

Hi there. this is my first post here, so im an newbie.

I have tried and tried to update the map in my nuvi 3790 to 2011.40 Europe.

First i tried via mapsource and mapinstall. I unlocked the maps and installed. Then i started the GPS i got the error. Cant approve map (translated).

The file installed in Garmin nuvi/maps as gmapsupp.img. My original file gmapprom.imp was in the system folder.

I dont have af sd card and uses internal memory (i dont think its possible to use sd card on this model). I have tried to move the file to system folder and rename it to gmapprom.img, but nothing helps. I get the same message every time. Ive tried to run the file through the Garmin alternative unlocker, but same result.

Can someone please help my as im getting pretty frustrated over my nuvi 3790.

Maps created in Mapsource need to be unlocked with Garmin unlocker Alternative, You used this one?
