I put together the 5 compressed file and I got a file calle gmapprom.img.

what should I do now ?

Check your PM, Im sending you a guide on How to update maps and any additional files.

I am also new and I want to use this maps for my garmin edge 800. I downloaded the maps but it diden't work with mapsource. Is there a manuele anywhere?

Download the unlocked IMG and just replace the new one (the one you downloaded) with the old one.

I'll send you a tutorial on how to update with unlocked IMG.

It is much easier to use the unlocked IMG than to use map source.

I don't have the old one on this computer.

I have already citynavigator 2010 but that one is on my old computer. I just bought a new one and I can't get it work at my new computer.

Know I have the maps on mijn garmin edge but I can't make a route (at front) on my computer (the old one is not working very well). Is it enough if I download this maps and download mapsource or do I need more?

Download the MapSource UnLocked: Original with .msi installer from post #1. It comes with BaseCamp and MapInstall, so that you needn't to install MapSource. But of course if you want you can install and use MapSource with this map too.

I downloaded the mapsource version, if I want to install it I get a faillure.

Did you extract the downloaded file without errors? Did you start the CNEUNT2012_30Update.msi file with admin rights?

Yes, I extract it without any errors. I downloaded the codpiece version from Bambam (page 2).
This are my first maps on this computer, is that the problem or must I change something?

What means "codpiece version" :D ?

It could be, that the path from the installation files is to long. Put the folder IMG on root of your HD and try the installation again.

I downloaded the mapsource version (page 2 11-09-2011, 01:06 AM, from bambam). Know I installed it succesfull but the maps are locked. Can anyone tell me how to unlock it?

You can use the image unlocker.

Sorry that's wrong! If you want to unlock the MapSource version, of course you have to use the MapSource Unlocker.

Has some one this working with a garmin gps device (edge serie)? I am running the 2010 version but there is no map that called locked maps.
