AFAIK G2S hasn't been updated, SID is not compatible with 3790 and the purpose of SID files is written above.

...but you can test it - there nothing can break

The supplied RAR-password for the "Garmin City Navigator® Europe NT 2012.40 Unicode Image Version - unlocked" (post #2) will open the rar-file. However, extracting the .img file gives CRC/password error. I have tried both download links. Any clue?
