City Navigator Europe NT 2013.10

There will never more come an actual "MapSource version", because the development of program MapSource is finished more than one year ago and all original maps in gmap format come with BaseCamp/MapInstall. But it is everywhere usual to say "MapSource version" for the PC versions.

For gmap-versions is no setup program necessary, just copy to the right directory. The programs BaseCamp and MapInstall are available for free from garmin.com.

Thank you p!xeldealer for clarification. I tend to disagree a little bit. Mapsource version still exist and what I mean when I say 'Mapsource' is an addition of at least 6 files which install map into your Mapsource program and install USB driver.
I got it from torrent since version posted here was missing it and it is a REAL pain to download from fileshare sites. And no, I am not going to pay for fileshare membership...
Installing the way you suggest does not actually installs map into Mapsource but lets Mapsource recognize it as new map. Map is not seen by Windows as installed application while using proper CNEUNT2013_10Update.msi it gets registered with Windows and can be properly uninstalled.

Both methods adding new map to Masource are valid but using .msi is more 'kosher'.

Sorry, but I must correct you again: copying the gmap-folder to the right directory (e.g. c:\ProgramData\Garmin\Maps\ in W7) installs the map correctly for MapSource, BaseCamp etc. - there is no further installation necessary. And, as I said above, the programs BaseCamp, MapInstall and WebUpdater you can originally download from Garmin and install them as usual, USB drivers included.
The .msi installer of CN does nothing else, than this. You can believe me, you don't miss anything if you can't download the full msi-installer of CN :D.

i had download the map... but i canot unlock the map for my nuvi 2575 or 2465/ 2565 series; nuvi205w canot unlock the map...

please advice me... thank you

The map is already unlocked, but you can't copy it directly to device - it's a MapSource version. You have to install it on PC/Mac and make a map image with MapSource or MapInstall.

It is much easier to download an unlocked image version, that you can use directly on device or SD.

yes. i had installed in to pc; using mapsource send map to SD card.... and i use keygen to unlock the map agian.... is failed to do... once i slot in my nuvi2575 or 2565. is sow me map can't unlock. but i unlock for my nuvi205w is work nicely

Don't unlock the map again and remove created .unl-files. The unlocked version is already unlocked and works on nuvi 2xxx.

you mean i direct using mapsource send map to device?

If you use the unlocked gmap-version, you can send from MapSource or MapInstall to device or SD without unlocking. You also can use ready to use unlocked image-versions.
But you shall know, that original map for nuvi 2xxx and 3xxx is unicode version of CN Europe. There you also have the original additional files, e.g. JCV and SID for this device series.

my unit is malysia version original map is malysia/singapore.... i do not install jcv file for europe

Thank you. Took almost 24 hours to d/l City Navigator Europe NT 2013.10 UNLOCKED IMG 1.99GB. Now when I want to copy to empty SD card it says to free 130Mb. Why is the img too big for empty SD? The card is 1.86 GB free with 32kb used, is there any more space that could be squeezed out with a different format?
