As I prefer locked images I found two torrents with good speed.
Hope it will be useful.

Hi People
Can anyone help me!!
I downloaded CN Europe NT 2017 and instaled it on PC, unlocked the maps sent it to SD card using basecamp but when I turn on the sat nav I get a message can't unlock maps on the screen. the SD card was formatted to FAT and the size is 2GB. the file on the card is gmapsupp if I rename the file gmapsupp.img the message is not there but the maps still don't open.the sat nav is Garmin nuvi 310, maybe it is to old. If any one can help please reply to this and tell me what I'm doing wrong or what file is missing.

Thanks for the reply
to answer your question, basecamp put a gmapsupp file in a garmin folder on SD card, when i turn on the nuvi310 with this file name on sd card on boot up the message cant unlock maps shows up, when I changed the the file name to gmapsupp.img the message was not there on the next boot up but still no listing of the map in the MAP INFO screen.

Other Garmin Devices
In other garmin devices is not present the .System folder , all the maps will be inside Garmin folder, the same here gmapprom.img map is the original pre-installed map
To update this devices you can:
1 - Replace the original map (gmapprom.img) with the one downloaded, you can rename the downloaded map in gmapprom.img if it is named gmapsupp.img
2 – You can use the downloaded map named gmapsupp.img just copy inside Garmin folder.
3 – If you want to have more maps in your device you can rename maps file in:
gmapprom.img (original map/ or renamed new map)
gmapsupp.img (2° map)
gmapprom1.img (3° map)
gmapoem.img (4° map – can’t be unselected)
devices with 3D buildings support, can rename in
gmap3d1.img (5° map)
4 – Using a SD card
Format in Fat32 your SD card and create a Garmin folder. Copy the gmapsupp.img inside the Garmin folder. You can use only one map in SD card.
You can have 2 maps named gmapsupp.img one in device and one in the SD card. It can help if you can’t put a full Europe map and you need a <2GB map. Copy the big one in SD and the rest usually a small file in Device, go in Setting\Map\Info and select both maps this way you will have a full coverage of Europe.
Garmin MobileXT
In garmin MobileXT maps goes in Garmin folder in Device/SD. Remember that you can’t use maps bigger than 2GB.
You can use maps named:
gmapprom.img
gmapsupp.img
gmapsup2.img

Hi
if I delete all maps in the internal memory I still don't have enough space to put in the new map. the size of the new map is 296248kb and that's only UK & Ireland
thanks for taking the time to reply to me.

@tommog fter the installation on the Mapsource you have to unlock it otherwise it may appear this message that you receive. If you unlock it correctly then with the Mapinstall you can create a map as big as your device can accept for the regions that you like
