Dowmload the 2 .img files and rename them gmapsupp.img & gmapsup1.img .On a fat 32 formatted SD card <32GB create a folder called Garmin and place them in it.
I don't have this device to test and it is possible it cannot see 2 .img file on an SD card so you will have to choose between East & West or choose a regional map that works for you.

All West map placed on SD (4GB max). I'll test it tomorrow, but it seems to work. You're great, thank you!
Can you suggest me if there is a way to install the maps on the PC? Thanks again.

Download MapSource available from [Please Register or Login to download file]
Then download the Unlocked gmap folder from new-maps/city-navigator-europe-2025-fid-12327-t23831.html#p195198
and copy to C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Maps then you will be able to make custom map set

Yes where ever you can find the files.
The link I gave has the layout for All Europe on an SD card formatted FAT 32 as these older device don't have enough internal storage

Good afternoon, I need the files for the Garmin nuvi 1450. Mine froze on the logo screen and on the Garmin website it says to use Garmin Express, but it doesn't recognize it in safe mode. I've already gotten the HWI through RNG Plus. Does anyone have the firmware files so I can install them, as I don't speak English. I'm looking for a translator.
