It would be better to use NTU maps on this device for Europe
the correct JCV are D6164100A.JCV & D6135100A.JCV 353 x 390

Sorry for being a bother, I loaded the unlocked IMG into my 65LM and it showed that map cannot be unlocked. I loaded the NT map it worked fine... Wondering what am I missing? Thanks.

Yes... My 65LM is a patched unit. I have been using unlocked NT maps for a while now... I am thinking 65LM cannot accept NTU maps. Anyway, appreciate all the helps!

I have various nuvi 65's and I can say without question they are compatable with both NT & NTU maps.


Unpack contents to clean FAT32 formated SD card,only UK & ROI but this will prove compatibility

I have GARMIN Drive Smart. 7 LMT-S

However, This model has only US maps. How can I put the entire Europe map in to this device?
Where can I get the file?

I prepared MSD and downloaded NTU 2020.20 around 16GB... However, I can't find the way...
Please, help me..~

Welcome to the forum.
Firstly your device will need to be patched to use Unlocked maps.

Look in your garmindevice.xml in the Garmin folder to find your HWID XXXX Patching

I checked and my SD is FAT32 plus I have a lot of NT maps that I can use but I cannot unlock the UK map that you advised for me to test. I guess it could be the way my unit is patched... I will try to re-patch using the method that you showed me above. Again, thanks a lot for the advice!!!
