I downloaded all the files using the magnet link and also downloaded the UK & ROI maps. I'm unsure what to do with the files now in order for the maps to show up on my 51LMTHD. I've already successfully patched the device, just wondering what next. I really want Western Europe, UK and ROI maps on my device.

So I copied the following files for UK & ROI that I downloaded from this thread to the SD card in the locations shown, but the maps are not showing up:

Garmin\JCV\D2920310A.jcv
Map\gmapprom.img

Am I missing something?

Try changing gmapprom.img to gmapsupp.img

Yes probably ,
Installation depends on what device ,Garmin maps are used on their own extensive range and many third party devices.
Just say what device you have.

Garmin Nuvi 462 doesn't exists, maybe you mean Nuvi 42
Is so, you have to install from Post #1:
1) gmapprom.img (All North) in folder \.System
2) D6210110A.img (All South) in folder \Map
3) D6166110A.JCV and D6136110A.JCV in folder \.System\JCV

Any of the above versions are topo version?
