Newbie question. Once downloaded, how can i make it work on Basecamp and on my Etrex 35 touch ? Where can i find a step by step tutorial ? Thanks in advance

Copy the gmap folder in C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Maps\ and you will see the map in BaseCamp/MapSource/MapInstall

Welcome to the forum.
You should have no problem with either downloads ,5G has average speeds of 150 – 200 Mbps and can reach up to 1 Gbps

Slightly off topic: I must say, Garmin development team (or whoever publishes new maps) become pretty reckless in last year or two. Several times I run into wrong or outdated roads, and new map set is continuing this trend in 2025.20 version. OK, with "Lifetime Update" user don't pay any extra money (or using torrents), but as a user - If I need to buy them - I will certainly not do it knowing this info. Pretty unprofessional on their side.

Current Map Version: 2025.20 (Europe) as of October 9, 2024.
Effective with the 2025.20 map release, devices purchased with a map subscription for a specific Europe map region have been upgraded to the full Europe map at no additional charge. These regions are no longer available to download as a smaller subset, with the exception of the regions shown below.

Also effective with the 2025.20 map release is the addition of coverage for Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia.

During a map update, Garmin Express™ software may prompt you to use a memory card when there is not enough internal storage to install full coverage. We recommend that you use a compatible SD card to install the update.

When purchasing or receiving a map update, unless otherwise stated, the updates you receive under the subscription will update the same geographic area included with your Garmin product when originally purchased. In that case, some of the regions below may not be available since they include states, provinces, and/or areas that were not originally pre-loaded to your device. To see what mapping was preloaded on your device, go to the Support Center, and enter your Product Name or Serial Number. Once your device is selected, in the Search for a solution... box, type or copy in "What Maps are Preloaded on my Automotive Device?"

How can I add this version to my garmin device. I see no map view and can't navigate with this version.

I have a nuvi 2445

If this in not a device with LifeTime maps ( 2445LM ) with a Regional map of Europe like Western Europe.

Thx, nicely updated my Nuvi 50 copying EU south in inner memory instead of north....... as I'm in France....
- Found elsewhere FRA topo 6 map (around 6GBE) to fit into the SD card....... wondering now if the 1GB gmap3D file is useful for my device? cheers

Not useful as your device is not designed to use 3D building/attraction images (gmap3D.img)
