I downloaded using torrent because Mega has limits.

Which files should I upload to Maps? On one screen in the Maps directory there are 4 files (I don't have it in the downloaded one, for example: (gmapsupp), and on another it shows that I should only upload gmap3d.img

The folder on the SD card is MAP not "maps" for this device you have to rename them as I have shown in the image.

They are the same files you can see by the size

I also tried changing the VPN to other countries US, UK... before starting Garmin Express, but that didn't help either. Garmin Express still only offers City Navigator Europe South when updating the map. Do you have any idea how to change this? How about a hard reset of the device?

Thank you for any help.

EDIT: It did not help to remove the device from the Garmin Express app, and perform a hard reset of the Garmin Drive 52.

I quoted your previous post, but it doesn't show it here.

OK ,I've tried 3 times what has been reported as the way to get the full Europe update as Garmin announced but could not get it either . I would give Garmin a call but they can be less thank helpful as the people that are in customer service don't have any technical knowledge.

Thank you for your efforts. Too bad it didn't work out. I have no place to call. I have tried reaching out to the local EU Garmin dealer, but they have no information at all, and no one to contact.

EDIT: Do you have any other ideas how to get a map of the whole Europe into the navigation?

These NTU maps are the latest for your device ,but it will need to be Patched to use unlocked maps.Look in your garmindevice.xml to find your HWID then search in this thread using it to get a SD card Patch kit in

Thank you. But it's just an emergency solution, because the openmapchest.org maps are quite hard to find addresses in the Garmin GPS device. The address that I can find in openstreetmap.org maps without any problems, it won't find me in openmapchest.org maps at all, but only one that is approximately close.

Hello! I have an old nuvi 1490T and I need map for Greece.
As far as I understand I need to download EU NTU 2026.10 South IMG UnLocked (3.35 GB). The question is, do I need other files from the Additional Files folder, or Cure? What is the correct JCV file? Do I need to download gmap3d.img, gmapbmap.img, gmapdem.img, gmaptz.img?
Thank you!

Hello!
I am trying many times to download files from dosya.co, but the result is same - redirecting to advertising sites, gambling sites and nothing happens. Where am I wrong?

Hello everyone,

I hope this is the right topic, otherwise please move it

I have a Garmin Nüvi 2595LM here from a friend, with American maps (bought there). Now he would actually only need Serbia and possibly neighboring countries, which has already been uploaded here as Ex Yugoslavia (but only the gmapsupp.img).

I still have a few questions, do I need the NT or NTU maps? Is it enough to just swap the gmapprom/gmapsupp or do I need other files (JVC, etc.)?

I was able to find the system folder, this is what it currently looks like [Please Register or Login to download file]

Would be great if someone could tell me again which files I absolutely need and where to copy them to

Thanks and best regards
