Not stating your device model is not at all helpful for anyone giving assistance. Also as you don't have an actual map problem, posting in this map thread is a bad idea. Perhaps a mod will move this somewhere else.
1. If you have a device earlier than 2/3xxx you should not be using a unicode map like this EU 2015.10. Use non-unicode only for earlier than 1xxx and even 1xxx can have problems too with EUU.
2. If you have an US/EU firmware 2xx, 465, or 7xx it can use two maps in sd:/Garmin folder named gmapsupp.img and gmapsup1.img with recent firmware.
3. If you have a 3xx, 5xx, 6xx, early SP etc you can only use one map on the card named gmapsupp.img only.
4. If you have 1xxx or later, you can put numerous maps in sd:/Map folder named '<any_name>'.img as well as one named gmapsupp.img in the sd Garmin folder.
5. You can combine maps into one gmapsupp.img from various gmap folders using MapInstall, or combine various images together using GMAPTool. Ensure the combined maps don't share any mapping data [i.e. no overlapping areas] and that the resulting image is less than the unit's FAT limit [units with internal memory formatted FAT16 are limited to under 2GiB file size even on a FAT32 card, FAT32 units can see up to 4GiB]. Combining EU and NA will produce an image in excess of 5.5GiB and that cannot be read by any Garmin unit. You could combine NA and AU, or even EU and AU to keep the file under 4GiB. Some older units such as 3xx/6xx and earlier can only read an image less than 2GiB.
