Can anybody help me with the steps to use this map with my Garmin nuvi 1490? I downloaded the img and renamed it to gmapsupp.img. But the gps shows a message "Can't unlock the map". Please help.

Hello and thanks for the upload. I have same problem as @ashisban: "Can't unlock the map" on a 1390.

Download GimgTools from: https://code.google.com/archive/p/gimgtools/downloads

Run gimgunlock.exe gmapprom.img --> this will unlock the map.

These files are deleted /not available in any of the server due to aging / inactivity. Would really appreciate if anyone can reupload the file or provide City Navigator for India version
