OK download is fine. there are differnent files.
I took me2013.20_3d.G2s,jcv.rar
defrag it then I'm stuck,Mapp install does not recognise it
I'm on mac..

You say you got an etrex 30? Then you do not need 3D, GS2 or JCV files as they are not supported by your device. You only need to download "MENA2013.20_IMG_UL.rar" and replace your existing "gmapsupp.img" or "gmapprom.img" which is either inside your "garmin" or ".System" directory. Pls read the Tutorials section. Cheers!

thanks for your explanaitions.
I'm very new with all these thinks and a bit lost. I took the 3D files because there is a "automobile" view mode on the Etrex 30 wich is a 3 D like.
Now, could you be so kind to tell me the difference between the different maps/files available where bam-bam told me to get the latest reliese of the maps: http://www.navitotal.com/forumdisplay.php?88-New-Maps
In each file, there are also several different sub-files. What are they for. I know that you are spending a lot of time to re- and re - and re-explain the same several times to people like me. I've look to the tutorials but, all this is still too fresh to me.
Again 1000 thanks to all of you. you do a great job.

Though your etrex have a 3D like automobile navigation view, it never uses these additional files generate that view. You only need the gmapsupp.img file. Cheers!

i have a small question but for me its such a big question you did not mension any details how to do this becouse i am newbe for garmin. can you please tell me how to do this task . i have download all files but i dont no what to do now ...
