I have a Garmin Nuvi 360 NA. I have downloaded these files.

I put extracted file "gmapsupp" under the folder of Garmin on SD card. It seams like not loaded when my GPS is started since I can not see the map info on my GPS. I did something wrong? please!

Can someone please post the JCV split screen for the NUVI 40/50. I tried the Nuvi 20/30 file but the screen recognize that there is a .jcv file but when pressed, it goes dark. I assume it is not the correct file.

3xx/6xx read map only 2 gb size

Hi guys,

first off thanks for the upload bam-bam.

I have a NUVI 2597LMT and when I put the img file om the sd card it says the map contains errors and cannot be used.
I have added an OSM map with success, so obviously the sdcard is working fine.

What could be wrong - why wont my unit accept the provided .img file?

Does anyone have the .asr .srx files for the CN North America 2016.10? If so, can they be shared?

I am a complete newbie at this and although I have not managed to actually get the new maps sorted out, must thank the writer for his obvious efforts! In the past I d/l'd a file which was a gmapsup.img file, plonked it onto a SD card and used it in either the older 200W or my newer 50LM and one of two things happened - it worked or i got the message "No detailed maps found that support routing. The Nuvi cannot ...."
Now when I un-rar the files I get a whole host of files which i obviously have to put together in some way. I have attempted to find this by going through the various forums here but without success. Can someone possibly point me at a FAQ or post where the process is set out?

Can someone please split this map so that it can be used in garmin 3xx/6xx units?
I've tried to split it with Gmaptool, but it has not worked.
I and other garmin users would appreciate very very much.

Nuvi 660 does not support files biger than 2GB either in memory or SD card!
The files should be less than 2GB and unlocked in order to be recognised by nuvi660
Install the Map first on PC and create maps after on your device!
