I downloaded the maps on post 1 and what is the procedure to be able to include it directly on my SD card of my GARMIN 3597?

Nuvi1300 here. The file is a rar. When I extract it there is no img file, it makes a folder w tons of files and folders.

Do I just rename it from a rar to an img file? I'm using a sd card.

Appears you have downloaded the gmap folder for PC use.
You just need the US ,Mexico & Canada .img files.
On a FAT32 formatted SD card

I sound like a broken record, but links dead already. Honestly time to start using torrents for all files IMO.

Can someone enlighten me on how I can get matching JCV junctions files for something like the City Navigator North America 2025.10 mapset? Trying to use an old jcv from 2019 at least isn't working and not a shocker I suppose.
Seems the mapsets are generally provided for mapsource and no accompanying junction files, expect SOME people occasionally upload FULL SCREEN jcv files from what I understand (and the links expire in 6 months). I need half screen junction files AFAIK. (newer format)

Edit: meant 2025, also the full screen ones work that were provided , but half screen ones would be much better.

Edit2: found them for 2025.10 on another forum , though I am fairly sure they often work between versions of the same map region.
