Locked map - means you need a license to be able to use it. Use JM's keygen to generate unlock code.

I downloaded the files both part 1 and 2. The problem is that they have the same file names. Do I have to copy both in the same SD card or do I need to rename the files. My Garmin doesn't read any of them. Please help. Thanks.

You need to EXTRACT part one to an empty directory and BOTH files will be joined together into one file. Copy this new file to your Garmin GPS and you are away.

I have a Garmin nuvi 3760. I downloaded part 1 and 2 of the UL rar files and I extracted part 1 only into a folder. 3 files are extraacted and I copy the"SoutheastAsia_v2012_20.img" into and SD card. I plug it in to my GPS and doesn't show any new maps. Thanks.

Did you unlock the maps as well? I see you used the unlocked version. When you extract part 1 to a directory on your computer, part 2 automatically extracts as well making one big file on your computer. You should use Winrar. Also, I think the maps should be in a folder on the SD card called Garmin and it should be renamed to gmapsupp.img.
If it ain't broke don't fix it!
ALWAYS BACK-UP YOUR FILES/FOLDERS BEFORE MAKING EDITING CHANGES!

Please do NOT post any thanks. Simply press the hand icon with the "thumb up" which is the thank you button.
