You will find your nuvi 775 won't have enough space for the current whole of Europe, most just use an SD card to accommodate the files totalling just over 7Gb.

What problem are you having, the post above gave you where to download & how to arrange the files on your SD card
If shared maps don't say original they are Unlocked.

Hi! I'm new in Sat Navs, I just want to stop using my phone all the time as a map.
I bought Garmin Nuvi 1490 but map is rubbish, can someone point me in to the right direction how to install that on my navi please?

Into SD card, make 2 folders:
- Garmin
- Map

Then:
- Into Garmin folder, make another folder called: JCV

Then:
- Into "Garmin" folder, copy gmapsupp.img file (its Europe East map)
- Into "JCV" folder, copy D2504310A.jcv file (its Juction View)
- Into "Map" folder, copy gmapsup1.img file (its Europe West map)

Before for my Nuvi 255W, guys posted an unlocked img file, and I put it on my SD card or GPS. It was unlocked and worked fine.
Now we've got 24 Gigas of files, it is hudge, and I'm not sure that I will do the right process to install on my Nuvi.
Is someone had the unlocked IMG of the west img file, please ?

Even though it appears you have been using NTU map on your nuvi 255W the correct are these NT
You can get Unlocked West only by just selecting it to download from this torrent

Using the "Thanks button" would tell us what post you downloaded from,but guessing it's the one Torrent has both Locked & Unlocked and includes the tool to unlock .img's yourself in the Cure folder.

If this is your BMW Motorrad VI ,it uses NTU maps for Europe.

I have a really, really old GARMIN nüvo 200 (no SD card) that I'm thinking of using with my motorcycle.
I just downloaded the Spain, Portugal & Andorra (no need for more...) from here and I need help from you guys. Where can I find a tutorial on how to install?

Welcome to the forum, your device uses NT Maps for Europe
Download & copy gmapprom.img to the Garmin folder on your device, this will replace/overwrite the out of date existing map.
Update the Safety Cameras Download & copy .gpi files to the POI folder, create POI folder if not present Garmin/POI
Use Garmin Express to update the software.

Your image shows the gmapprom.img 563,264Kb which is the correct map for your older device.
On your device look in Tools>setting>map>map info this should show CN Europe NT 2022.10 - Spain & Portugal

Your device uses these NT maps which are the latest.Full Europe is 2 .img files now due to the 4Gb file limit.
Garmin\gmapsupp.img
Garmin\gmapsup1.img

Sorry I am completely new here .... where is "reply" icon?
So my Nuvi 710 has very little internal memory (500mb) with a software version 5.40 I would like to have the full Europe map, so I suppose I have to use an SD card.
Do I need to update my software?
From which post should I download the Europe unlocked gmapsupp.img and JCV.file on 8 GB SD Card? Or I must download a locked map and unlock it myself? Is GMap3D compatible with my device??
Should I put the Safety Camera file (language-files-voices-speedcams/garmin-cyclops-safety-cameras-t1888-45.html) in internal memory/poi (if yes, should I delete the old poi content?) OR I should put it on the SD card where I will use the gmapsupp.img and gmapsup1.img ?
Lastly I'm in Germany, so better if I avoid torrent ......
