Patching does not effect the use of the existing Lifetime free map updates for W Europe
You need an SD card formatted FAT 32 >8Gb <32Gb with these file on, there will most probably be duplication with file on the device.

I am sorry, GarmanNuvi... I am not sure what to make of that list. What would be the next step once I downloaded :

I recreated the SD card with that folder/files structure but I have a problem:
SID file's content that I downloaded does not match that list. What do I do?

Another question: Do I have to delete the Update folder if I already unlocked the device?

What is the next step?

I guess hereford does exist but if you search (using a sat nav) Hereford does not exist?? I can search
for other towns cities, but not Hereford.
Noticed this as my daughter lives in Hereford??
Is this an error in the img file, or something weird?
BTW I have a Gamin Nuvi 1310, old now but only used intermittently as i have built in satnav in my car
but still perfectly adequat.

The reason the search is not working is because you are using the wrong maps - Use the NT maps instead of NTU

I copied the SQLite folder inside the device under Garmin/SQLite/all-files-specified
And I did not put them inside the memory card. Is that ok?
Or should I place it somewhere else?

SQLite files work better in the SQLite folder on the device .system folder is a hidden folder
<Path>.System/SQLite</Path>
<BaseName>usage</BaseName>
<FileExtension>db</FileExtension>

The map from whole europe is now working and uploaded to the device <3

NTU includes certain characters/alphabets not in the NT map, U stands for Unicode.
Unicode version can display cyrillic and some other languages characters and signs (like greek, polish,latvian etc)

I saw your post and I am downloading your map. I will try to put it on my Garmin device tomorrow. Is there anything I should know about putting this map into my garmin? Do I need an installer or I can put them manually? I am waiting for your response and sorry for bothering.

You need to let us know what device you have including the HWID from the garmindvice.xml, they are not all the same,

Hi guys,

I have a Kenwood DNX 4250BT car stereo with Navigation. Current maps are OEM 2014 NTU. I have downloaded the pack and placed files in Map folder. When browsing to update maps I am getting the below:
The information for your navigation system could not be written to the external media.

Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong and what should be the process?

EDIT:
I have updated the kenwood firmware and now when going into the update map it says it saves necessary information on the sd card. Not sure though how should I get the new maps to link to the navigation unit.

EDIT:
Moved the .img to Garmin folder and I can now see the 2022.20 All South (the north has different name). I guess I need to read tutorials on how to merge them if possible.

Renamed files properly and now can see both maps. Maybe it will be useful for someone
